Show Us Your Dance Moves Rules

WZID wants you to show us your best dance move!  WZID listeners 18 and over who have not won anything on WZID in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months can enter to win a 4-pack of tickets to the WZID Women’s Expo at The Radisson Hotel in Manchester, New Hampshire on Saturday, March 8th from 10:00am-4:00pm and the opportunity to dance at the Women’s Expo with Tony Dovolani from Dancing With The Stars, with a total retail value of $40.00, by submitting a video of themselves dancing at WZID dot com.  One entry per person.  The video must belong to the individual submitting it. Submissions will be accepted between 12am February 17th and 11:59pm February 23rd.  Listeners will then be able to vote for the best dance move between 12am on February 24th and 11:59pm on March 2nd.  Listeners can vote once per day during the voting period.  Voting is limited to one vote per verified email address per day.  If an entrant receives irregular votes from the same user or users, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, other automated means or other source, WZID  reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion.  To participate, you must become a registered user through uPickem.  In case of a tie, a winner will be chosen at random among all entries.  Three grand prize winners will be announced on Monday, March 3rd, and prize will be awarded on Saturday, March 8th.  No purchase necessary.  Employees of WZID, Manchester Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WZID main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.  These rules can be found at WZID dot com.

A New York City doctor says U2 singer Bono suffered multiple fractures and had to have two surgeries after his weekend bicycle accident. Orthopedic trauma surgeon Dr. Dean Lorich says Bono underwent a five-hour surgery on his elbow in which three plates and 18 screws were inserted on Sunday night. Bono had another surgery to repair a fracture to his left pinkie on Monday. Lorich says Bono will need therapy but a full recovery is expected.
