Bernice Bio

Hi, I'm Bernice Corpuz. I'm thrilled to be part of the WZID family!

How did I get here? Well, I was born in the Philippines. My family moved to Massachusetts in 1991. I graduated from Woburn High and Emerson College. I lived in Boston and Somerville before moving to Concord, NH in 2005. Last year, I made the move to Manchester and got a roommate, a cat named Peanut.

I love what I do because there's always a new story to tell. I've had the privilege of working at other radio stations in New Hampshire, where I earned a number of Golden Mike and Associated Press Awards. Don't be surprised if you catch my voice at other radio stations in Massachusetts, too.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, John, and my family and friends. I have a little bit of an adventurous streak in me--I have gone skydiving, ziplining, and white-water rafting, but don't ask me about roller coasters or bungee jumping. What else is left on my bucket list? Finish a marathon, see the Grand Canyon, travel to Europe, learn how to swim, and be proficient in another language.
