10:00 am - 2:00 pm
On Saturday, April 26th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Goffstown Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its eighth opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your medications for disposal to the Goffstown Police Department at 326 Mast Rd. in Goffstown. No needles or liquids can be accepted. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
Americans are now advised that their usual methods for disposing of unused medicines—flushing them down the toilet or throwing them in the trash—both pose potential safety and health hazards.
For more information in regards to this initiative, please contact Detective Jason Ouellette at the Goffstown Police Department (603) 497-4858.
