Singer/actress Ariana Grande has written a thank you letter to the cast and crew of “Sam & Cat” following the cancelation of her TV series.

The teen sitcom, starring “Victorious'” Grande and “iCarly’s” Jennette McCurdy, was put on hiatus in April and now executives at the show’s network Nickelodeon have announced the program will not be returning for another season.

Sharing her thoughts on the end of the show, Grande thanked those who have been involved with the series since its inception.

She wrote, “I want to thank Nickelodeon for making a childhood dream of mine come true, for being a family to me, for being so accommodating and supportive of my multitasking with my music career, and for of course introducing me to many of my fans however many years ago.

“I will always hold (character) Cat near and dear to my heart and appreciate her help in my personal growth from teenager to adult. I know she seems like a simple, daft character (and she is) but she played such a huge part in my life.
