Bitter cold! Stay inside!

Bitter cold! Stay inside!

When you head out today to shovel and snow blow, please be cautious. Temperatures for the next 24 hours are forecasted to be at or below zero with dangerously low wind chills!   Manchester Police Lt. Jim Soucy says officers have been on patrol helping and encouraging the city’s homeless to get to shelters.

This afternoon a pipe burst at the Manchester Animal Shelter and staff is scrambling to move the animals.

This is also not the kind of snow that’s good for snow balls! It may be wise to encourage the kids to wait a day or two to hit the hills with their sleds experts warn that frostbite can take only minutes to affect bare skin.
