Manchester police said a 76-year-old man who was struck by a car at a 7-Eleven store as he was walking to his vehicle has died. Herbert Steinberg of Manchester suffered a serious head injury when he was hit by a car at a gas station Tuesday evening. The 16-year-old driver of the vehicle was not injured. Police are investigating the accident. They say speed and alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors in the crash. Charges have not been filed.
