A police commissioner in Wolfeboro who used a racial slur to describe President Obama has resigned. The police chief in Wolfeboro said his department was swamped with angry calls after commissioner Bob Copeland refused to apologize for making the racist comment.. The story has gained national attention. The 82 year old resigned Sunday night. His resignation letter simply stated: I Resign.
