The East getting hit with Snow and Cold

The second day of the new year is much like the second-to-the last day of the old year: more snow.  A large storm is expected to drop up to a foot of fluffy snow, falling for much of the day with the heaviest snowfall later tonight into Friday morning.  Gusty winds mean blowing and drifting snow.  With the bitterly cold air in place, that means the wind chill values will drop well below zero in many locations.
