4 kids rescued

WMUR is reporting that 4 children have been hospitalized after being left alone in a van, with the windows up, outside a Family Dollar in Franklin.  The outside temperature was at 97-degrees and officers say the kids were suffering from serious heat-related symptoms.  The Subaru in question had Maine license plates.  The driver has been arrested.

Yesterday, a Goffstown woman was charged with leaving her child alone in a car.  Police were called to a supermarket parking lot where they found the two year old girl buckled in her car seat in a van.  At the time, it was 93 degrees.  Sarah Jordan is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
