Charges filed in April accident

Police have charged a driver with manslaughter in connection with a crash in April that killed a 14-year-old Laconia Middle School student . The crash killed Lilyanna Johnson and severely injured another student, 14-year-old Alyssa Miner. The driver, 52-year-old Amy Lafond, turned herself in to police yesterday. Authorities said Lafond had consumed drugs before the crash.
