A priest formerly with the Diocese of Manchester is under investigation for what’s being called “improper financial transactions.” The investigation of Monsignor Edward Arsenault began after the church learned he was having an inapropriate relationship with another adult and may have been minusing church funds. Arsenault has resigned from his position at a church run mental health facility serving Catholic priests in Maryland. The AG’s office is also investigating his professional relationship with CMC.
