It’s unclear how repairs for state highways will be paid for.  The Senate said NO to a plan to raise the gas tax 12 cents.  The Senate also blocked it from budget talks.  The Senate had hoped to use casino licensing revenue to pay for highway improvements, but the House killed that idea Wednesday.  So, now that both bills are dead, it’s not clear how we’ll pay to improve highways. The Senate did pass a medical marijuana bill which still must be passed by the House.
