Fired Manchester Police Sergeant arrested in hit and run

Manchester Sargeant  Stephen Coco was fired Monday and this morning turned himself in to police after an internal investigation determined the car involved in the accident Friday night in Bedford was assigned to Coco.  Bedford police say the car never stopped after hitting two teenagers walking on Harrod Lane.  One teen had minor injuries but the other was taken to a local hospital with a serious head injury, and has since been released. Manchester police are cooperating fully with the investigation.  Coco has been charged with two felony counts of conduct after an accident.  Bedford police have scheduled a press conference this morning.
