There is a heavy snow weighing on branches and power lines this morning. Londonderry and Litchfield are both dealing with several outages, with Londonderry reporting more than one thousand customers without electricity. As for the roads, crews are out trying to clear the streets and highways to help with the morning commute. As of last night, four inches of snow had been reported in Nashua and Weare and three inches in Merrimack and Peterborough. Meanwhile, south of us, they’re getting more. Ten inches of snow reported in Weymouth, Massachusetts.
Some anxious eyes will be watching the high tide this morning in Rye. A coastal flood warning is out for the coast of central Rockingham County as a powerful winter storm continues to churn off-shore. The warning is from 6 a-m until 10 a-m, with 20-foot waves likely and a two-foot storm surge.
