Howard Stern’s radio sidekick Robin Quivers is back behind the mic after a 17-month battle against cancer.

The broadcaster, who has been by the shock jock’s side for 30 years, returned to his SiriusXM show studio on Wednesday for first time since beating cancer.

She has been calling in from home since taking time off last year to undergo a 12-hour operation to remove a huge tumour from her bladder.

Back in her seat, she told listeners,”It’s pretty amazing. I was brushing my teeth this morning and thinking about going back on the air for the first time after surgery and how incredibly difficult that was. And today not feeling anything at all.”

The usually straight-talking Stern showed off his softer side, telling Quivers, “I could never be without you again. And your beautiful face, your smile… Seriously, I’ve been praying for this day and I’m really happy that you are here and it makes me very, very happy.”
