Police have charged a driver with manslaughter in connection with a crash in April that killed a 14-year-old Laconia Middle School student. The crash on April 19 killed Lilyanna Johnson and severely injured another student, 14-year-old Alyssa Miner. The driver, 52-year-old Amy Lafond, is charged with negligent homicide, second-degree assault and other charges. Her bail was set at $30,000. Authorities said Lafond had consumed drugs before the crash
