LIGHT.  Leanna Kirk describes Audra as a light to many lives.  As a volunteer for the National Alliance of Mental Illness in New Hampshire, Audra works to provide support, education, and advocacy for individuals and families struggling with mental illness.  Through her volunteer efforts, Audra has successfully implemented change in the state hospital’s volunteer policy, bringing Family Fun Night for the children and their visiting families.  She’s a certified support group facilitator and public speaker.  She also touches many lives as a facilitator to the NAMI, NH’s Lee Affiliate Family support group, and helping those who face mental illness or suicide through the Connect Suicide Prevention Program.  She truly goes above and beyond the call of duty to assist those who need her help, and she focuses on bringing light to those who find themselves in dark places.
