“She is a comforting hand and also a solid force when needed.” That is how Kristine describes her daughter, Kyle Tremblay, who is a Learning Specialist, dorm parent, and dance teacher at
Proctor Academy in Andover. Whether it’s leading service trips to Nicaragua to work with orphaned children or being a part of a teen service week at the Manchester Boys and Girls Club, she doesn’t stop for a minute. Kyle provides her students with a constant while they study at a boarding school away from their families. It is not unusual to see a student working at her kitchen table at 8 o’clock on a Friday night. Kyle’s devotion to her students is 24 hours a day, even teaching dance to the children of her peers on Sundays. The day-to-day issues of teenagers can pose many stressors, but Kyle handles it all with compassion. Her devotion goes above and beyond.
