FOCUSED. Linda Henry describes Linda Hatchett as a rock of stability. She has worked as a Special Education Teacher, Life Skills Teacher, and a Special Education Coordinator in local schools for over 30 years, but goes far beyond what is usual and expected, often making phone calls or trying to finish work in her office long after the school bell has rung. No matter how busy she is, she makes people feel as though they are her top priority. She listens, is willing to do whatever she can to help, and has played a key role in helping students grow. In many cases, students have grown from being in self-contained programs to college graduates and contributing members of the community. Linda is very knowledgeable about laws and regulations which relate to Special Education, including Transition Planning, and was named Transition Coordinator of the Year for the state of New Hampshire. She is an active member of her church and a devoted wife and mother. In a world where so many are focused on themselves, Linda is focused on others and empowers people to help them move forward.
