Nashua police say officers responding to a report of a medical emergency at a local home found 320,000 allegedly stolen prescription pills inside. Authorities say the pills were taken from a Massachusetts warehouse three years ago. Thirty-two-year-old Tam Mitchell is facing drug charges.
Senator Judd Gregg says the Senate has approved $3 million to help preserve the Seacoast's Great Bay. He says the money will help protect more than 165 acres of land. In all, federal funds and other private and public donations have led to the permanent protection of 5,213 acres.

The city on Saturday is opening a connecting trail between the ATV tails at Jericho Mountain State Park and a trail network in nearby Success. The connection allows 100 miles of ATV riding, and officials hope it will boost the local economy.
Federal wildlife officials are offering a reward for information that helps catch the person who shot a young bald eagle in Millsfield on or about October 22nd. The bird was shot with a shotgun and was found by local sportsmen. A wildlife rehabilitator is caring for the bird.
