Star Wars in Concert!

Star Wars in Concert is a unique multi-media event featuring music from all six of John Williams' epic Star Wars scores. As part of its worldwide tour, it will play at 7:30pm on November 12th at the Verizon Wireless Arena.

Narrated live by Anthony Daniels, the actor who portrayed C-3PO in all six films, the production features a full symphony orchestra and choir, accompanied by specially edited footage from the films displayed on a 3-story-tall, high-definition LED super-screen - one of the largest ever put on tour. The live music and film elements are synchronized in order to create a full multi-media, one-of-a-kind Star Wars experience.

The orchestra being featured with this spectacular show is The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, which has been in constant demand for live performances and recordings of classical, light classical, and popular music since its formation in 1987, working with internationally-renowned artists in a variety of settings from the traditional - concert halls, stadiums, and cathedrals - to the unorthodox. The orchestra has performed concerts with Jose Carreras, Diana Krall, Liza Minnelli, Randy Newman, Andrea Bocelli, and Russell Watson, appeared at Tina Turner's 60th Birthday Concert, performed Aida at Earls Court with the late Luciano Pavarotti and made tours of the UK with Bugs Bunny on Broadway, The Music of ELO and Symphonic Queen. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performed the world premiere performances of Star Wars in Concert at the O2 Arena in London in April 2009.
