Pitt Said No To $5 Million Party Fee

Brad Pitt reportedly turned down a $5 million paycheck so he could spend Halloween with his family.

The movie star was invited to be the guest of honor at the Grand Prix Ball Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates - and would have pocketed the cash just for showing up.

But he opted go trick-or-treating with partner Angelina Jolie and their kids in Hollywood.

He switched his tuxedo for a DJ Lance Rock costume and hit the streets.

James Magee, a representative for Global Event Management, tells Life & Style magazine Pitt was expected at the gala: "We were told he would be attending as the guest of the Tourism Development & Investment Company, but he was a no-show, and nobody seemed to know why."

The charity ball closed three days of celebrations surrounding a Formula One racing event. Festivities featured performances by superstars such as Beyonce, Aerosmith and Timbaland.
