Gwyneth Paltrow is taking her first steps into the music industry - the actress is preparing to release her debut record.
The Oscar-winner plays a country music singer in her upcoming film Country Strong, opposite real life music star Tim McGraw and actress/singer Leighton Meester.
Paltrow, who recently admitted her husband, Coldplay rocker Chris Martin, taught her to play guitar for the film, has recorded the title track and she has now been tipped for chart success as movie bosses prepare to release the song as a single.
Country Strong, which features backing vocals from Vince Gill and Patty Griffin, will be released on 23 August.
