Suzanne Roantree

Hi I’m Suzanne Roantree. I live in Gilford and now Manchester as well. I’ve been with WZID since December of 2008 and started with the Morning show doing traffic not only for 95.7 but also for WMUR .

My husband Ken and were married in 1987 and our three children, Alex, Max, and Katy are now young adults. I grew up in Hillsboro, NH and attended UNH graduating in 1984. Ken and I left NH in 1985 to move to Baltimore with a small moving truck, car in tow, and one cat. After stops in Atlanta and Philadelphia,we moved back to the Lakes Region in 1995 with the largest moving van ever made, and a mini-van filled with our children and two cats, since then we’ve added a few dogs and horses to the mix.

Since December of 2009 you might also have seen me on TV(other than doing traffic in the morning) as I started freelancing as a news reporter for WMUR. A new and exciting expansion of my broadcasting career.

In my “free time” I love to horseback ride and compete in the Hunter/Jumper and Dressage worlds! I ran my first 5K in September of 2013 — a few other items are on the bucket list — like sky diving!!!

I’ve worked at radio stations all along the East Coast including WSB in Atlanta and WBZ in Boston. The broadcast world has changed leaps and bounds since I started my career in 1984, but I’ve got the bug and love the ever changing world of radio!

Thanks for listening!
