95.7 WZID Women’s Expo Macy’s Shopping Spree Contest

This contest, “95.7 WZID Women’s Expo Macy’s Shopping Spree Contest” (referred to herein as the “Contest”), is conducted by Saga Communications of New England, LLC, licensee of Radio Station WZID, FM 95.7, Manchester, New Hampshire, dba “WZID” (collectively referred to herein as “WZID”).

 

Rules are available at www.WZID.com  and at WZID studios during normal business hours, 500 N. Commercial Street, Manchester, NH  03101. Rules have important information about eligibility, the station’s responsibilities, the entrant’s responsibilities, the winner’s responsibilities, tax ramifications, and more. WZID will award the prizes to entrants who meet the eligibility requirements and follow all of the rules. WZID reserves the right to postpone or extend the contest dates.  Rules are subject to change without notice, though revised rules must be posted as soon as possible.  No purchase necessary to enter or to win.

 

 

CONTEST NAME, DURATION, METHODOLOGY and PRIZES

• All winners will be randomly drawn from one registration box.
• One entry per person. One prize per person. Once a person has won a prize, they are no longer eligible to win other prizes.
• Prizes are provided by Macy’s and other vendors at the Women’s Expo.
• The contest will be conducted at WZID’s Women’s Expo, on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at The Radisson Hotel, Manchester, NH. The Expo will be open 10:00am-4:00pm.
• The contest is open to anyone aged 18 or over as of Saturday, February 16, 2013. People may enter the contest at the WZID booth inside the Women’s Expo or outside in the lobby by completing a registration form that includes: first and last name, email address, mailing address, date of birth, and phone number. All information must be provided and be legible for the entry to qualify. Registrations will be accepted between 10:00am-3:30pm. No purchase necessary to enter or win, but the person must be present at the main stage at 3:40pm to win.
• Beginning at approximately 3:40pm, a WZID representative will randomly draw and announce a winner for the grand prize ($1,000.00 Macy’s gift card). If the person called does not present him or herself at the stage within 5 minutes of his or her name being called, another name will be picked and announced, and the first name drawn is no longer eligible to win that prize. If a person is chosen who entered the contest in the lobby and has not paid entrance to the Women’s Expo, the entry fee will be waived so the person may come to the stage to claim their prize.
• The prizes are as follows: (1) $1,000.00 gift card to Macy’s and other prizes as they are provided from vendors at the Women’s Expo.

• All entrants’ information collected through the registration forms will be entered into WZID’s Email Club data base. Furthermore, this information will be shared with WZID Women’s Expo vendors. By entering the contest, entrants agree to have this information shared.
• The winners of the prizes valued at $600 or more will have to provide a copy of their photo ID and their Social Security card and sign paperwork at the WZID offices within 30 days to claim their prize.

 

ELIGIBILITY

• This contest is open to anyone aged 18 or over as of Saturday, February 16, 2013.
• WZID reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner if the contest rules have been violated.

 

VALUE OF PRIZES

• In accordance with IRS regulations, WZID will provide any winner receiving a prize(s) valued at $600 or more in a given calendar year with a copy of IRS Form 1099 (miscellaneous income).
• The Macy’s Shopping Spree has a retail value of $1,000.00.
• 95.7 WZID reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or lesser value at any time. Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable, non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.
• Odds of winning cannot be determined at this time.

Generic WZID Contest Rules

1. For contests on 95.7 WZID, winners must be at least 18 and live or work within 75 miles of our studios at 500 Commercial St., Manchester, NH.

 

2. We will make reasonable efforts to award prizes within 30 days after winning. Winner must claim prizes within 45 days after winning, or prior to stated expiration date, or winner will forfeit all rights to claim the prizes.

 

3. Prizes are not transferrable or exchangeable and may not be redeemed for cash.

 

4. Winners must present valid legal ID and sign a release form, and are responsible for all taxes and fees.

 

5. When listeners are required to call-in to win, it’s (603) 666-0957, unless otherwise instructed. For texting, it’s 77000.

 

6. If you’re listening to the Internet stream of the station, programming may be delayed affecting contest participation.

 

7. By playing, you grant us the full right to publicize your name, likeness, voice, and details of winning.

 

8. We assume no responsibility for any problems in contacting us or if an event is cancelled for reasons beyond our control.

 

9. Only one winner per household per 30 days.

 

10. Any prizes awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

 

11. Employees of Saga Communications of New England, LLC and 95.7 WZID, or its parent, and restricted persons named in our written rules are not eligible to win contests.

 

12. No purchase necessary.

 

13. Contests void where prohibited.

 

14. Federal, state, and local laws apply.
