Investigators are trying to determine what sparked two suspicious fires at the Cheshire Fairgrounds in Swanzey early Tuesday morning. Crews were called to the fairground for a dump truck fire around 1:40 a.m. Pallets could be seen stacked against the truck.  Shortly after, firefighters noticed flames coming from a cattle barn on the property. The Cheshire Fair is scheduled to be held in late July, and the president of the fairgrounds said the fires should not impact the festivities.
