My Website

I’m the “Queen of Sappy” love songs and proud of it!

Family: Mother of 6.

My most memorable lovesong dedication: I had a good conversation with a gentleman who called to dedicate a song to the high school girlfriend he hadn’t seen in twenty years. A week later he called me back to say that the women had heard the dedication and had arranged to meet him for lunch.  In the middle of the meal she said, “There’s something I’ve been waiting to tell you for nineteen years, you have a daughter,” and in walked the daughter. I don’t know who cried harder, him or me!”

Favorite Movie of All Time: “Whats Up Doc” with Barbra Streisand and Ryan O’Neal.

Favorite Food: It’s a tie between Grandma’s pickled beets and pecan pie.

Favorite Musical Performers: Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Kathy Troccoli, Patti Labelle, Bette Midler, Barbra Streisand.

Favorite Book: Book of Psalms.

Most Favorite Interview: Bette Midler

What People Should Know About My Show: It is NOT just a request and dedication show. It is a show about relationships, about love and about life. The songs complement the stories that listeners share from the heart.

Favorite Hobbies: Painting, cooking, gardening.

Favorite Moments In Time: The birth of my children, and the day our adoptive children moved in. The day my husband Doug and I walked alone on the beach.
