The Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program announces the 2026 Miss New Hampshire and Miss New Hampshire’s Teen competitions. The event marks a historic milestone as the organization prepares to crown the 80th Miss New Hampshire, celebrating eight decades of empowering young women through education, achievement, and community leadership. During the event, $100,000 in cash scholarships will be awarded to young women who exemplify “Style, Service, Scholarship and Success”, which represent the “four points” of the Miss America crown.

The second edition of the Manchester Vegan Chef Challenge (VCC) — a fun monthlong foodie event for omnivores and vegans alike — kicks off on May 1st.

Local chefs around Manchester are creating new plant-based dishes, which they’ll feature as specials on their menus throughout the month. The event celebrates community, creativity, and delicious food, while making plant-based eating more accessible for those motivated by animal rights, health, and the environment.

Friday 9-5, Saturday 9-4. Tickets $10 per person, 12 and under free.

They will also be hosting Free Comic Book Day at their Concord location. The Concord location is a great alternative for folks who can’t spend time in line or maybe have sensory issues and can’t handle large crowds.
