Highland Games

The festival is a three-day celebration of Scottish culture, featuring traditional Highland athletics, caber toss, hammer throw, stone put, and weight over bar competitions, along with Highland dancing, pipe band performances, and clan gatherings (NHSCOT, 2026). Visitors can also enjoy Scottish food, whisky tastings, sheepdog trials, and cultural workshops throughout the weekend.

Thank You Bass Player Live will feature eight New England bass players performing individual sets, giving the instrument that normally sits behind the singer or guitarist an entire night in the spotlight.
The lineup includes Tim Doucette, Jason Skulls, Kelsea Brumaghim, Michael Mendonca, Nathan Sanel, Christopher Beaton, Shane McWilliams and John Clifford.
D’Addario donated strings for every performer, and Manchester Music Mill is supporting the event with a professional bass amp.
It is free, all ages, donations accepted, with a one-drink minimum.

Join QC Bike Collective’s Tour of Manchester this Sunday, September 20! Start times: 25- and 30-mile routes: 8 am (Registration open 7 am – 8 am). 8 & 15 mile routes: 10 am (Registration open 9 am – 10 am). Rest stops: Will be evenly arranged throughout the routes, stocked with water, food, and cheerful volunteers to keep you rolling. Lunch: from various Manchester eateries with either hot or cold options!
Rain or Shine: The Tour rolls no matter the weather, so dress accordingly. Even if the weather is lousy and you decide not to ride, you’re warmly invited to join us for lunch
