Police say a woman was killed in a crash involving a dump truck.

WMUR-TV reports that the woman was the sole driver of a car involved in a crash with a dump truck Wednesday morning on Route 28 at Route 171.

Police say that the dump truck was traveling east on Route 28 and the car was traveling north on Route 171 when the vehicles collided around 7:15 a.m.

Police have not released the woman’s identity. Police say it doesn’t appear that alcohol or speed were factors.

Ossipee Police say the woman was alone in the car. State police investigators are checking the truck for mechanical problems.
