7 vehicle crash in Manchester

From Manchester, NH Police Department:

On August 2nd, 2021 at approximately 1638 hours, the Manchester Police Department responded to the intersection of Elm and Bridge Streets for multiple reports of a motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival Manchester Police discovered that 7 vehicles were involved in the crash. The investigation revealed the crash was caused by a BMW that was traveling easterly over the Bridge St Bridge. The BMW lost control and eventually crashed into multiple vehicles stopped at the intersection of Bridge St and Elm St. The BMW then drove across the intersection before rolling onto the roof and crashing into more stopped vehicles. Two subjects sustained minor injuries as a result.

The driver of the BMW was identified as Thomas Valliere a 53 year old man from Meredith, NH who was charged with Driving Under the Influence.

The cause and totality of the accident are still under investigation by the Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit. The scene has been cleared and the roads are open for normal traffic patterns.
