PORTSMOUTH, N.H.- Authorities say a Rochester man is headed to prison for close to a decade for his role an incident in Portsmouth.
According to court documents Andrew Lucas, 27, has been sentenced to 3 to 7 years for his role in the August 2023 assault prior to the death of Rochester resident Zachary Colbroth, 28, in Portsmouth.
Colbroth, who fell three stories from the High-Hanover parking garage in downtown Portsmouth, moments after being assaulted by Lucas and co-defendant Vincenzo Panetta in the street.
The fight was preceded by a verbal dispute between the parties inside the Portsmouth Gas Light Co. Colbroth was pronounced dead at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
Panetta was previously convicted of negligent homicide and all the same charges as Lucas.
