The Anheuser-Busch facility in Merrimack is closing in early 2026. According to the beermaker, the decision comes as the company takes steps to “update and modernize our U.S. manufacturing operations.” Merrimack’s Town Manager says said the closure will affect about 124 jobs. The company is also closing its facility in Fairfield, California, and is selling its facility in Newark, New Jersey. According to the company, employees have been offered jobs at other facilities or a severance package.
