Armed robbery at Windham pizza shop


On January 8th, 2020 at approximately 9:45 pm an armed robbery was committed at Kendall Pond Pizza, 7 Mammoth Road in Windham. A lone male subject entered the restaurant through the front door and displayed a handgun. The subject ordered the employees on duty to hand over the money in the cash register and then left the building with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen running behind the building towards Kendall Pond Road.

Windham Police along with officers from Londonderry and Hudson responded to the area immediately. A canine unit from Londonderry PD along with multiple patrol units conducted a search of the surrounding area but were unable to locate the subject.

The suspect was described as a white male possibly in his late teens or early twenties. He was approximately 5’5” tall, 165 to 170 pounds with a medium build. He was wearing a grey hooded fleece with a dark colored vertical stripe across the back, “Carhartt” style work pants and work boots. He had a light colored scarf covering the bottom of his face and was wearing a dark colored winter hat. The gun that was used was described a “gun metal grey” Smith & Wesson revolver.

Per the employees at the restaurant the suspect appeared to be familiar with the layout of the building and had working knowledge of the register.
