On March 30, 2020 at approximately 11:30pm someone entered T&N Gas at 90 Bridge Street and attempted to rob the clerk at knifepoint but was unsuccessful. As officers were responding to that call, a report came in that someone attempted to rob the 7-11 at 111 Webster St, but was once again unsuccessful.
The description of the suspect in both crimes was the same. At approximately 2:40 am officers spotted a man meeting the suspect’s description walking into the 7-11 at 557 Maple St. Officers confronted him and through their investigation were able to confirm it was the same person from the earlier attempted robberies. 31 y/o Jonathan Hayden was charged with two counts of Robbery (felony). Hayden will be arraigned today (3/31) in Hillsborough Superior Court –North.
