Arrest


From Manchester, NH Police Department:

On December 1, 2020 at approximately 5:15pm, Manchester Police arrested 43 y/o Carlos Claudio. Claudio, who is from Manchester, had been wanted on multiple charges in connection with an incident that had taken place in October.

On October 17, 2020 Claudio had been located passed out in a car parked outside of the Cumberland Farms at 108 Webster Street. Manchester Fire personnel were trying to check his condition. When Claudio came to, he was acting strangely. Police arrived to assist and Claudio took off. There was a foot pursuit and a K9 track was conducted with negative results. Claudio had discarded a bag during the pursuit and it was found to have a stolen gun and drugs inside. Police also learned that Claudio was a convicted felon. Warrants were issued for Claudio’s arrest.

On Tuesday December 1, 2020, police received information that Claudio may be at 643 Harvard Street. Police were able to confirm that Claudio was inside. For the safety of residents, the building was evacuated. The SWAT Team was deployed and a public address system (PA) was used to make contact with Claudio. Police were able to take Claudio into custody without incident.

Claudio faces numerous charges to include Armed Career Criminal, Felonious Use of a Firearm. Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Controlled Drugs, Falsifying Evidence, and Resisting Arrest.

Claudio was scheduled for arraignment today (12/2/20) in Hillsborough Superior Court North.
