Authorities search for missing inmate

MANCHESTER, N.H.- The New Hampshire Department of Corrections and police are current searching for an inmate who escaped a transitional housing unit.

Authorities say Shawn Michael Baliey, 39, a minimum-security inmate was placed on Escape status Saturday night after he walked away from the Calumet House a little after 10:30 p.m.

Authorities describe Bailey as a white, male, approximately 5’5″, weighing 170lbs, with brown hair, brown eyes and wearing a black hooded CCM sweatshirt, along with jeans and black sneakers.

Anyone with information on Baliey’s whereabout is urged to contact Chief Investigator Jason Darrah, of the NHDOC Investigations Bureau at 603-848-2569 or local police.
