CONCORD, N.H.- Police have charged a Barnstead woman after she crashed her motorcycle in Hooksett while trying to avoid authorities.
According to State Police a little before 9:30 Wednesday morning officers were searching for a motorcycle that failed to stop for an officer in Bow along I-93 as one of the troopers who attempted to pull it over noted how the driver was seen “recklessly passing other vehicles.”
A short time later a State Police aircraft joined the purist as the driver later identified as 39-year-old Stephanie Lane was spotted from the air weaving through traffic at 90 miles per hour and was attempting to get onto Exit 9N but failed to negotiate the curve and crashed.
Following her arrest Lane was charged with disobeying an officer, reckless driving, misuse of plates, operating without a motorcycle license, unregistered vehicle, and uninspected vehicle, but was released on personal recognizance bail. Authorities say Lane has an arraignment scheduled for September 5, 2025, in Concord District Court.
