Barrington man charged with attempting to meet a child for sex

From Derry, NH Police Department:

On June 1 ,2021 at approximately 10:53 AM the Derry Police Department arrested
Jeffrey Fellows of Barrington, NH alleging 4 counts of Certain Uses of Computer Service Prohibited RSA 649-B:4 (Class A Felony) and 1count Attempted Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault RSA 632-A:2 (Felony).
Mr. Fellows was arrested by the Derry Police Department in conjunction with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, of which Derry PD is a member. ICAC Task Force members from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department and Londonderry Police Department assisted in the investigation.
It is alleged that in April 2021 Mr. Fellows began an online chat with a person under the age of 13 that continued for several weeks. It is alleged that Mr. Fellows ultimately arranged to meet at a local hotel to engage in sexual conduct. Mr. Fellows was arrested when he arrived at the hotel.
Mr. Fellows was arraigned at Rockingham County Superior Court on June 2, 2021. The Court held Mr. Fellows on preventative detention pending a pre-trial release evaluation.
