The Bedford Police is advising of a phone scam that is going around. The subject on the line is identifying themselves to be from the Social Security Office. They are asking for the last 4 of your social security number along with transferring money from your bank account.
They are also stating that you may be arrested. In some cases the Bedford Police business line number, 472-5113 is showing up in the caller ID.
