Sanbornton police are warning people about a new scam in the area in which callers claim they are with DISH Network using a cloned phone number. When a scammer called a Sanbornton resident Wednesday, the phone number on the caller ID was DISH Network’s customer service number, said police.  The caller said the company wanted to change or move satellite dishes, and they needed to get into the home to move receivers around, and then asked for descriptions of the rooms in the house that had receivers.
