Police in the town of Chesterfield have confirmed that the body of a woman was recovered from the Connecticut River. Crews responded after getting a call at around 9 a.m. Tuesday reporting a body might be floating in the water. Firefighters from several communities in New Hampshire and Vermont began searching the river. The Brattleboro Reformer reports police said the body was found and the New Hampshire medical examiner was at the marina in Hinsdale at about 1 p.m.
