Charges filed in connection with teen’s death at Lake Winnipesaukee in 2025

NASHUA NH –

New Hampshire State Police have announced that following an extensive investigation into the death of a 17 year old June 20, 2025 at Lake Winnipesaukee – 50 year old Buffy Ann Doyle of Nashua is facing charges of felony negligent homicide, two counts of witness tampering, and falsifying physical evidence.

According to the indictments, Doyle is alleged to have caused the teen’s death when she acted negligently by providing the teen with alcohol and allowing them to enter Lake Winnipesaukee while knowing the teen was intoxicated.

Doyle has entered a not guilty plea to all four charges and was released on personal recognizance. Doyle is scheduled to appear in court on June 26, 2026.
