On October 21, 2020, Manchester Police arrested 37 year old Joshua Dallaire of Manchester and charged him with crimes involving distributing and possessing child sexual abuse images.
This was the result of a 6-week long, joint investigation by the Manchester Police Department’s Cybercrime Unit and the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children (NH ICAC) Task Force.
This case dates back to September 7, 2020, when the Manchester Police Cybercrime Unit received a CyberTip forwarded by the NH ICAC, regarding child sexual abuse images showing up on a messaging app account. Through their investigation, they determined that the IP address used for this activity was local, tracing it to Dallaire’s address, 489 Pine St, Apt 1.
A search warrant was executed on October 20, 2020. Subsequent forensic examination uncovered multiple images and videos on a cell phone belonging to Dallaire.
As a result, Dallaire was arrested yesterday and charged with 3 counts of Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Images, for disseminating images over the internet. Dallaire was also charged with 3 counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Images for having images on his phone. These charges are all felonies. Dallaire will be arraigned today, October 22, 2020 in Hillsborough Superior Court – North.
