COVID-19 increases, vaccine to arrive in NH

State health officials have announced an additional 695 new positive COVID-19 cases. There are currently 6303 active cases, almost 2,000 more than last week.
The test positivity is around 9%, up from about 7% last week.
248 are hospitalized with COVID-19 and 14 more people have died, bringing the state’s death total to 584. 13 of the 14 new deaths were related to Long Term Care Facilities. There are also 14 new outbreaks reported in long term care facilities, while 3 outbreaks have been closed.

The state expects to receive 12,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine as early as next week. The state is looking for volunteers interested in helping with the system to distribute the vaccine. Those interested can find more information at nhresponds.org.
