MANCHESTER, N.H- The Department of Homeland Security says New Hampshire Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen lobbied department officials numerous times to exclude her husband William “Billy” Shaheen from the Silent Partners Quiet Skies list even though he traveled with an individual described as suspected terrorist on three different occasions

According to a press release, back in 2023 Billy Shaheen traveled several times and was subjected to a search by TSA officials ahead of each flight. Afterwards his wife spoke with former TSA Administrator David Pekoske and eventually had her husband added to the Secure Flight Exclusion List for 18 months which excluded from any future searches until the current TSA leadership removed him.

Following these claims Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s office issued a lengthy statement which in part said, “Senator Shaheen sought to understand the nature and causes of these searches. Any suggestion that the senator’s husband was supposedly included on a Quiet Skies list is news to her and had never been raised before yesterday, nor was she aware of any action taken following her call to remove him from such a list.”
