On October 13, 2020 at approximately 8:50 pm, Manchester Police responded to Huse Rd for a Domestic incident. When police arrived the suspect, 43 year old Ramon Martinez took off.
The victim told police Martinez, a man she knew, had gotten into her car, pushed her into the passenger seat, and started driving. She said he yelled at her, threatened her, and assaulted her multiple times.
Martinez brought her to Huse Rd. They got out of the vehicle, but he held onto her. A witness fired a warning shot into the air to get Martinez away from the woman and a call was made to police. As officers arrived, Martinez ran to the victim’s motor vehicle and drove away.
On the afternoon of October 14, 2020, police located Martinez in the area of the Fast Track Convenience store on South Willow St. He was uncooperative, ignored officer’s orders and struggled with them, even kicking a police K9. Martinez was ultimately taken into custody. He faces multiple charges to include, Kidnapping, 3 counts of Domestic Violence- Simple Assault, Criminal Threatening, Stalking, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Theft by Unauthorized Taking, 4 counts of Resisting Arrest, Disobeying a Police Officer, Willful Interference with a Police Dog, and Violation of Bail Conditions. Martinez will be arraigned in Hillsborough Superior Court- North today (October 15).
