A wrong way driver is likely reponsible for a double fatality. All lanes of Route 101 West were closed for almost 5 hours overnight between exits 7 and 6 in Epping following the serious crash. Police say 31 year old Ryan Kittredge made a  u- turn on the highway, and was driving the wrong way crashing into another car driven by 58 year old John Johnson of New Ipswich and his passenger 57 year old Heidi Johnson. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Kittredge was med flighted to Mass General Hospital. A third car was also hit.
