MANCHESTER, N.H.- A three-alarm fire on the city’s west side Friday night has left two people hospitalized with serious injuries after they were forced to jump from the third floor of their building to escape the flames.
Fire officials say crews arrived on scene to 26 Sullivan St, around quarter to 8 and were met with heavy flames coming from both the second and third floors of the four-story apartment building.
Following a strong response made up of crews from multiple towns, fire officials were able to bring the blaze under control by around 10pm.
As the investigation into a cause continues, fire officials say the building is considered a total loss.
