Former Manchester resident charged with shooting at Border Patrol agent pleads not guilty

MANCHESTER, N.H.- A former Manchester resident charged with trying to kill a Border Patrol agent back in February has pleaded not guilty.

According to court documents Blu Zeke Daly, otherwise known as Cullan Zeke Daly, was arraigned from their hospital bed Thursday on a single count of attempted murder of a federal officer and a single count of assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon.

Prosecutors say Daly opened fire at a Border patrol agents during a traffic stop in Stewartstown during which they fled from authorities and ended up suffering a head injury once agents returned fire.

Out of the hearing the judge ordered that Daly remain in temporary detention as talks continue over her further detainment, as prosecutors are looking to see Daly held during the proceedings while Daly’s attorneys note their client is currently undergoing and will need further medical treatment for their injuries.
