Former Officer charged with Stealing

A former Hooksett police officer has been charged with stealing from Target. According to police, Schleiden Meneide was arrested Saturday morning after officers say he tried to run from officers. He was found in possession of merchandise and a device to remove security tags. Meneide resigned from Hooksett Police in 2023 to avoid criminal prosecution after allegations involving the misuse of the State Police On-Line Telecommunications System.
